Who: Interpreters preparing to re-test, first timer testers, and Deaf community members When: May 15 and 16, 2008 Thursday 5:30-8:30pm Friday 8:30-4 Where: Michigan Works Service Center 1209 S. Garfield Rd Suite D Traverse City, Michigan 49686 Cost: $15 for material and snacks Since you are coming to the cherry capitol of Michigan… I bet cherries will be part of the snacks! Friday’s workshop will have a one hour break for lunch. There are many restaurants nearby for you to enjoy. |
This workshop is supported by LIS’N Northern Michigan’s Local Interpreter Services Network. We welcome all Deaf/HOH community members to attend, free of charge. Registration must be received by May 12th. Registration is limited to the first 50 paid applicants. No refunds. Confirmation of registration given via email. 2.5 indirect QA units will be awarded for Thursday night and 6 direct QA units for the full day on Friday. Partial QA units will not be awarded.
