“Apples …Peaches…Pumpkin Pie, How Sweet it is!”

Comparing apples to apples: An opportunity to meet and question current and contending politicians, A chance to see latest technology in telecommunications along with becoming acquainted with various Deaf service agencies.  Peaches: A couple of hours spent watching Sign Stage (Deaf actors and their shadowing interpreters,) with follow up discussion, Hands on challenge to watch Deaf storytellers, then accurately retell which is their favorite means of telecommunication. As always, we continue to offer both Deaf and Interpreters a chance to come together and share two culture and two languages while gaining information that will be beneficial today.

COST: $50.00 (includes: Morning snacks and lunch, Deaf performance (1st 30 registered), folders, raffle. ITP students: $30 (preregistered and accompanied by sponsor)  Deaf/HH: $15.00  AT door: +$10.00 and lunch/tickets/ **only if available.

Kirtland Community College offers job training/certification  classes.  Associate degrees as well as prerequisites for transferring to four year institutions are obtainable. The ASL program  was added to the curriculum in 1991 and these bi-bi ASL workshops have been ongoing since 1995.
