MIRID is putting out a call for committee members.  We need your help! 
Listed below you will find a brief description of each of the available committees. 
Please consider joining a committee.  Your involvement is invaluable.

 

► Committee: Student Committee
   Reason: Looking for a group of students to represent the various ITP's across the state.
   Type: Standing Committee
   Goals: Identify concerns of students as well as make recommendations for action by the board.
   Implementation: ASAP
   Evaluation Date: As needed   
   Duration: On going as needed.
   Number: 3-4 members minimum.  One from each ITP preferred.

► Committee: Workshop Committee
   Reason: Allow for easier identification of upcoming duties and events, allow for longer range planning by the board, and provide a clear timeline of board work.
   Type: Standing Committee
   Goals: Identify, schedule, and implement upcoming workshops.  Work with MIRID vice president to ensure that workshop details are taken care of.
   Implementation: ASAP
   Evaluation Date: As needed
   Duration: On going as needed
   Number: 3-4 members needed

► Committee: Membership Concerns Committee
   Reason: Allow for identification of membership concerns, including the upcoming rules and regulations.
   Type: Standing Committee
   Goals: Identify concerns of membership as well as make recommendations for action by the board.

   Duration: On going as needed.
   Number: 3-4 members minimum.  One from each region preferred.

► Committee: Publications committee
   Reason: Help publications manager with different forms of media, including MIRID's website, MIRID Link, and other media needs.
  Type: Standing Committee
  Goals: Identify publication needs to stay current with technology as well as make recommendations for action by the board.
   Implementation: ASAP
  Evaluation Date: As needed
  Duration: On going as needed.
  Number: 3-4 members needed

► Committee: Audit Committee
   Reason: Acts as check and balance for MIRID monies.
   Type: Standing Committee
   Goals: Work with MIRID treasurer to ensure that funds are handled in a responsible manner.
   Implementation: Already established.  Looking to fill one position.

   Duration: On going as needed.
   Number: 1 member needed to join existing committee
